@FutureMrsMcK: @tysonja: Another nerdy show watcher here ;) We ran out of Doctor Who, then ran out of Top Gear, so we've been re-watching (for the 80000 time) LOTR extended on blu-ray :p

As for little rituals, we go to bed at the same time and read or watch a movie/tv (see above lol). We also go out to lunch every Friday, somewhere cheap but it's us time! I'm hoping we can afford to keep our Friday lunches when LO gets here, but who knows. Oh and he always texts me at lunch to say he loves me on days we don't meet up. :)

@tysonja: Yeeeah...I think we have one episode left before the 2-part finale. DH is leaving town for week tomorrow so we're going to try to finish it tonight :) As for nerd alert--well, some of the other shows on our lineup are Doctor Who and Sherlock...;)

We have a couple. In the morning I always get up and make a pot of coffee, he makes us up mugs, and we sit together, with no phones or TVs or computers or anything. In the evening we cuddle in our big chair and a half leather recliner and watch a show (lately Star Trek TNG because we're finishing up the final season). And most important to us: we go to bed at the same time and take the time to curl up together and talk about the best parts of our day. I like taking the time to remember all of the good parts instead of stressing about the bad parts right before bed, and I swear I sleep better because of it.

These haven't really changed much since having DS. We might have been holding him when we were watching a show or whispering over his sleeping body at night but we've made these things (especially the last one) a priority.

my DH and I have a bunch of weird little traditions and rituals we do... little sayings we say in certain situations, that we always end up play fighting/wrestling in our closet, that he always pretends to eat my last bite of dinner because he knows I always save the best bite for last, etc.

One of my favorites is that I wake him up every morning after I'm already completely showered/dressed/breakfast made, etc and crawl back into bed for a little bit to cuddle and talk to him about the day. I absolutely love starting our days like this, BUT, I wonder if this will change when we have a baby. I may not have time to climb back into bed every day, or some of our other traditions may fall by the wayside.

Did any of your rituals with your SO change when you had kids?
