@alayaya: I don't do that, but I do like to read aloud. To thin air. It's actually come in handy now that I'm pregnant lol.

@ladyfingers: We're like twins! I do all of those exact same things! (Except for maybe that thing about acting out scenes out loud... that's a little weird. lol)

One other thing I do is when I'm reading a book but I have to put it down for whatever reason, in my head I will start thinking the way the book is written (like using the same language and phrases). It gets really weird when I'm reading Jane Austen or Charles Dickens....

Hmm...I'm sure I have many but can't think of stuff!

Here's one: if I drop something on the floor that I don't need right away (like a pen, magazine, car keys- NOT food) I often don't pick it up until I need it, even though I know it's on the floor. That seems to bother people around me, which I find kind of funny! Why does it matter to someone else whether I pick it up right away or not? If I don't need it until 10 minutes from now, I'll pick it up in 10 minutes. Just makes more sense--what if I drop it again?

Your odd behaviors make me look like a mental patient.

First, I always pretend I don't want something to happen so that it will happen. It's like I believe I am capable of some sort of magical thinking.

Second, I always believe people won't come through for me. It's an extension of the first, I think. I truly believed I wasn't getting a bridal shower, for no particular reason. Same with my baby shower.

Third, and I don't know if this is personality so much as it is whatever, but I talk to myself all the time. And not normal talking to myself, but like, having conversations with people (where I'm both voices), acting out scenes out loud from movies and TV shows (but all made-up scenes), etc.

As I've gotten older, I've developed a couple odd behaviors. For instance, when people try to tease me with "surprises", I don't really care. I'm like, okay. Are you going to tell me or not? If not, eh. Moving on. I don't even think twice about it!!

Second odd behavior is I can now easily put a lot things in my "eff it" bucket. As in, I can easily let things go. I don't let them bother me one bit after the initial shock has taken place. It's making my life so much easier!

Thirdly, I'm super, duper cheap. My hubby is kind of embarrassed by it sometimes, but when it comes to spending money on him or other people, it's like the sky is the limit! Yes, there are amounts where I'm like WHOA! No way, jose! But I'm more willing to hand over the cash when it comes to other people.

What odd behaviors do you have? Or am I just really, really odd?
