We managed to find this bed on sale at a Carson's Furniture outlet, new in box, and on-sale for $1,300 for a California King size. The thing retails for $4500+!! A friend recommended one to me and I found out that it's within 5% of the quality of the Tempurpedic, but a fraction of the price. It's also less likely to make you too warm (a problem for a lot of hubbys!). </p> <p>We bought it online, yes... but think about it, how much can you really tell by lying on a mattress in a store for 10 minutes? </p> <p>This mattress is firm so keep that in mind. It's the highest rated mattress on Amazon and the majority of the 'negative' reviews are people complaining that it's too firm. We won't hesitate to buy another of these for ourselves, our kid, or a guest room in the future. Great value for the price, we've had it over a year now and very impressed.
