Might be cheaper than a dealership or a mechanic. Came like that with heated and AC seats. I'm in Texas so the AC is more important for us. I use it all the time to cool the car off while I gather-up baby items and load the car. It helps. But some of the remote starts don't turn the heater on or they don't turn the heated/ac seats. I park in a garage though, so my car stay pretty warm. I used it all the time. In the winter to warm it and de-ice it if we had a storm and in the summer to cool the car off I just had to remember to leave the AC on when i turned the car off. I miss it terribly with my new car.
