@mediagirl: I would just eat cheese and suffer the consequences.. Unless I was deathly allergic :)

Yup, all through this pregnancy, my husband has had to cut out tomatoes, nuts and dairy due to allergies. This makes life really difficult when it comes to meal planning. I make the same thing every week and it gets so boring!!! I can't wait until he can at least add dairy back in. It will make life much easier. The tomato thing sucks, though.

My husband is lactose intolerant but he does OK with cheese and cream in cooking. But not a lot of it. We keep soy milk at the house for him when we have cereal.
He has high cholesterol (genetics) so we're very conscious of what we eat because of it.
My MIL is supposingly not ok to eat pepper....but we've used it before w/o realizing it till after and she was OK! haha so that one we're not convinced about...

My nephew is allergic to seafood and eggs so he's really hard to feed!

I would also die if DH couldn't have dairy! He is allergic to prawns (shrimp?) ,which is a bit of a bummer as I love them, but fairly easy to work around.

I recently had a friend stay with us and she can/t have gluten. It was a stressful week trying to cater to her dietary needs.

I'm always seeing so many yummy looking recipes that say, "cheese" or "creamy" on the title. My husband can't eat dairy, so I stay away from them. He also can't eat beans, which also sucks for me. Hopefully LO won't have those same allergies so I can continue eating the cheesey stuff and beans for our lunches!
