For example my cell phone number, and my work phone number are 2 different area codes. So I always make sure to give my area code when I give my number. So, when I started visiting Ontario more often I always forgot to give my area code, and you really need to because there are SO many area codes around here! Now I pretty much always remember. If I did have a "local" number, I'd still give my area code because the metropolitan area I live in has 3 area codes!!
