I got a christening invitation for one of my good friend's baby 2 weeks before the christening. I got a baby shower invitation a month in advance for the same day and already RSVP'd that I was going by the time I got the christening invite. I think my friend is mad at me for not going, but send your invite earlier! Or at least tell me about it so I can save the date!
