Yep. It's ridiculous. I have to remind him to shave his beard before he gets in the shower on Sunday before church. I sometimes have to remind him to eat. I don't know how he survived 34 years without me!

@HLK208: oh no, that is so sad. That is fantastic that he can remember what he needs to for work, though. That's an important one!

Eh, more often its my husband remembering things for me.... Like that I need to get the car inspected, or that its time for an oil change or time to pay the bills. A gift for a teacher is not something he would think about, though.

Yes, but he gets upset when I remind him. So, when I don't remind him once in awhile, he forgets and I get to bust his balls.

Pretty much, except it's been a lot better since after I was pregnant. I was so out of it, he needed to remember things for a change.

No, I am more forgetful than DH, but he wouldn't think of certain things unless I tell him to remember.

We've been cloth diapering LO since she was two weeks old (she's 17 months). I do most of the laundry since I"m a SAHM mom, but DH helps on weekends. Today he put the diapers in the wash and said, "do I do a hot or cold rinse first?"

Really? We've been washing these diapers for 17 months!

Yes. He got a concussion as a teenager and I'm positive it effects his memory...he remembers nothing. Not birthdays, directions, events that he's been to, basic math and spelling, the months...luckily he has to remember quite a bit for his job and does at least that.

He's pretty self sufficient but I do need to remind him of things out of the ordinary schedule. But, I don't know that my memory is any better, I'm just more likely to be the one planning things.

Today is DD's last Mandarin class before the holidays and I had a gift ready for her teacher. I forgot to remind DH to bring it and of course he would never remember something like that on his own. I'm bummed, but I guess it's really my fault for not reminding him. Blech!!!
