It REALLY freaked me out because my skin is pretty smooth otherwise. Not a whole lot of fine lines. I started getting facials relatively regularly (every 3 months or so?) and asked every facialist what I should be doing in terms of anti-aging. I've been using moisturizer with SPF every day, as well as makeup with SPF, exfoliating (NOT apricot scrub, but dermalogica micro exfoliant in the shower every other day) and GUESS WHAT?!?!? The long wrinkle is pretty much GONE. I can't believe it and I'm so thankful I started when I did. I plan on continuing to take care of my skin and consulting with professionals every time I start to see other issues because my mom keeps telling me, once it starts going downhill there's really no going back!! I try to remember to use a firming cream, which seems to help. What helps is always moisturizing in that area using your ring finger since it's the weakest. Also, use a silk pillowcase if you're a side sleeper since a lot of wrinkles are formed at night. With makeup - translucent powder is now our enemy since it sinks into the fine lines exaggerating wrinkles. I sort of make a frown face whenever I concentrate on something so that has permanently left the V mark. My mom has it too. I don't do anything about it. Since I always look like such a hobo, I'm never in any of the pictures. As I looked at the pictures, I realized that I have crow's feet/laugh lines/wrinkles. I am looking old!</p> <p>I don't use wrinkle cream, and I'm definitely not opposed to some skin work a little later down the line (lasers, peels, etc).</p> <p>I swear that I aged a lot since having kids. And I've seen that happen with other women as well. Being pregnant, giving birth, and raising kids takes a toll!</p> <p>Do you have wrinkles around your eyes? What do you do to treat them? And do you look older post kids? </p>
