My mom gave me my baby ornament from 1981 - I kind of wish she would keep it as now I worry about it breaking every year or me misplacing it! I have a few other ornaments that we always had on our tree growing up, and my dad gave me an ornament that HE had as a little kid in the early 1950's! So, my mom made a bunch of felt ornaments and paints some ceramic decorations and I have them all, which is what I decorate our tree with now. I will continue until L is a little older and I want to do something a little less "kid-ish". edit: they aren't mine, necessarily. We didn't get ornaments for christmas.
