One set doesn't plan on having kids, the other haven't yet. We love them like family and can't imagine not including them in her special events. </p> <p>That being said - that's just while the parties include adults. I'm primarily interested in those friends of yours that do not have kids.</p> <p>I invited everyone for LOs first birthday as it was a big milestone and we also did her baby naming (Jewish tradition) at that time, so it was an important gathering. For her 2nd bday we just did family and no kids or adult friends. </p> <p>Now that we are having her 3rd bday, we are inviting her daycare class for the first time and the list is getting quite long if we invite all of our adult friends as well. </p> <p> I'd love to see my friends, but I don't want them to feel obligated to attend a child's birthday party at which they will probably not have very much fun. But is it rude to not invite them? </p>
