Extra set of clothes (for LO), play shoes in summer, a sweater, hat (winter and summer for kids and adults), mittens (kid and adult), water bottles (full of water, which should probably come out before it starts freezing here...), snacks, a towel, wipes, blankets, band aids and emergency stuff like flashlight, candles, a lighter, space blankets. I'm basically terrified of the car breaking down in the winter and freezing to death.

I have nothing. There might be a couple toys and books from when he insists on bringing something with him.

With winter coming, I really should get something in there.

@Pancakes: @twodoghouse: @SweetCaroline: Same here. My car is disgusting, but it has everything I need.

I keep a potty in my car too. It gets used weekly by my toddler.

Just created an actual emergency tote with a towel, first aid kit, a couple non-perishable snacks, diaper, wipes, change of clothes for each of them. I need to add a plastic bag and a bottle of water. Yesterday LO ended up needing a bandaid from the kit so I felt successful ;)

All I have in the car is a toy attached to the back head rest to give LO something to look at and a burp cloth that I must have forgotten to take back out of the car. If we had an emergency we would be in a pickle.

I have a diaper bag that usually contains no more than 5 diapers, a big thing of wipes and a bib. I also keep 2 baby carriers in the car and that's it. I feel like I should put a small emergency tote with water and snacks just in case though.

I keep a diaper clutch (4-5 diapers, a blanket and wipes).
An extra lovey
An extra binky (but we are phasing that out now, he only gets it in the crib and car)
A toy and a book

Now that I'm listing this out, I might start keeping a cereal bar or something just in case.

I keep a diaper and a travel pack of wipes and a non perishable snack. I typically restock the snack every other time I grocery shop and just leave the whole container in the car (animal crackers, mini cheese crackers, popcorn etc.) Other than that just a first aid kit, stroller and a couple of toys that are just for the car.

I keep a "disaster bag" in each car:
- change of clothes for each kid
- extra underwear for DD
- diapers for DS
- wipes
- band aids
- extra gallon zip locks for messes

Since these things are in the car and we live in the suburbs I don't carry much in my diaper bag anymore.

My car is like a tornado of diapers, wipes, books, toy cars, notebooks and crayons, snacks, hats, extra shoes, my Tula, and stale goldfish. It's sort of embarrassing, but I'm never caught without something we need!

I keep a tote in the car. It contains:
Extra clothing
A diaper
Roll of paper towels
Tissues
A compact baby carrier
Hand sanitizer
Plastic bag

When the weather wasn't so hot I kept extra snacks in it too.

For extra clothing I keep a set that is next size up in the car. I rarely need to use the emergency outfit, and this way I'm not keeping a useful outfit out of rotation.

We have a diaper bag that we leave in the back of the car, but it's seriously out of date. I need to freshen it up, or get some type of bin to keep things in that we may need while out and about. What do you keep stocked in the car for your kids?
