No policy for our daycare. Really it depends on what is causing it. My son would get diarrhea when teething so obviously I'd be sending him to daycare. Same when on antibiotics for ear infections.

no diarrhea policy at our daycare (just no fever over 101 for 24 hours) so we would send him, as long as he was acting ok, with extra diapers/wipes/diaper cream and a note about the diarrhea. But Wagon Jr. was a trooper with the diarrhea since he got it all the time :(

our daycare is the same, no diarrhea, but honestly since 5months old and she is breastfed I cant really tell if she has diarrhea or not because her poops are always runny.

We keep her at home if DH has the day off...otherwise she goes to daycare with the runs! We normally cloth diaper but we we send disposable diapers and wipes when she is sick.

Our daycare does not allow kids with diarrhea there. They need to pass 1 normal/solid BM before they can return.

There was nothing in our current daycare's paperwork about diarrhea and taking your lo to the school. Does your daycare have a policy about diarrhea or do you keep him/her home for the sake of the other children?
