I grew up being kissed on the lips by my parents and grandma, and I still often kiss my dad and grandma on the lips when we're saying goodbye.</p> <p>I understand it may be strange if it's not what you're used, but I've never really given it a second thought. I'm sure I'll kiss my little ones on the lips... I'm not sure I'll be able to restrain myself! Sometimes he's sucking on his fingers already so I have to pull them out of his mouth to give a ppo-ppo... but he never seems to mind! I don't have kids, so I obviously can't say one way or the other what I'd do. I guess when he's going in for the kiss, I'd try to turn my cheek so he plants it there instead. I'm not sure I'd accept kisses on the lips from my kids, but I definitely understand that when they are young, they won't be able to understand the difference. Maybe I'll change my tune by the time I have them. To me, lip kissing is a romantic gesture, so doing it with my children (or parents) would just be weird, haha!
