I go at lunch to feed DD, so I've gotten to know all the babies and a couple other moms who also go there at lunch. At LO's first daycare there another girl on the roster that had VERY similar first and last names. I asked the ladies to point her out to me since I wanted to see if the two girls could ever get mixed up. (Of course she was another pale girl with red hair). The ladies got really weirded out by me asking to see another kid. As if that made me a predator or something. Since then I haven't asked who anyone is. It's so awkward when I get birthday party invites. There are only 8 in the class, including R, but 4 of them are dropped off and usually picked up before R. I saw one child for the first time yesterday. They are having an end of summer party this afternoon, so I will finally put the name to the face for them all!
