I was skeptical because honestly he was a jerk (just a bully in general), but apparently it actually really mellowed him out and he's a great guy now. </p> <p>I think my DH would make an amazing SAHD, but it will never, ever happen. He makes literally at LEAST 7 times as much as I ever have. Financially it just won't ever make sense. And I really want to be a SAHM, so there would be no reason to try. I guess a SAHSD? He'd love to be one for my elementary aged sister as well, and homeschool her, but Mum says no (they are divorced). I tend to agree - he didn't finish high school and has some very interesting ideas on how the world works ;)</p> <p>Being a SAHSD really suited him. He ran a small at-home business restoring old tvs, and selling rare books, but being home and managing house + family were his #1 priority. Once we were older he set up his own bookshop, just in time for my sister to be born!
