I remember all the tests we would take to see how fast &amp; how few errors. I am a decently fast typer &amp; I rarely have to look. I still cheat with numbers, though. When I was in middle school, AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) was the "in thing," so I think I got a lot of practice that way haha. I took it one year before they switched to computers so I still had to do it on a typewriter. It was horrible!! I had a faulty typewriter (we had assigned seats) and I complained to the teacher but she wouldn't believe me for a while and kept knocking down my score. FINALLY I was able to convince her. Whew. I thought I was going to fail typing and it would not have even been my fault. </p>
