The first time was before we started house hunting and the second was years after we got our house. </p> <p>In our case, they were willing to deal with the fact that we're already settled into our home and the deal would have been about renovations. We highly considered it, and would probably still consider it if they take us (we're getting renovations done next year). She had years of struggles with contractors "fixing" her roof. She finally had John DeSilva and a few other people come out to her house, fix the problem and renovate her kitchen and family room.
