Do you know what the difference between certified naturally grown and organic is?

I think lately it's so hip to be "organic" that everyone is jumping on the farm wagon so to speak.

We took a Foodie to Farm tour last year and it's really interesting to hear about being certified organic from the farmer's perspective. Certified Organic is so cost prohibitive to small local farmers that most of them are actually Certified Naturally Grown. Which is the same as organic but without all the hefty fees.

I'm personally a supporter of CNG because it means supporting my local farmers not a farmer all the way out in California!
