@banana: Oh, I'm pretty much only in tune because the baby has been head down for awhile. And I could tell that because the dr has been able to find the best heartbeat in the lower left quadrant. And when I had my 34w check up 2 weeks ago, she did an ultrasound, and I asked her to point out how the baby was positioned. She said that the baby was head down with the spine on the left, butt on the left, feet on the right. Otherwise, I'd probably still be guessing! The feet are a stronger movement than the hands -- at least according to my experience.

Baby was head down majority of my pregnancy. Just like her brother.

@mrs.wagon: I remember those middle of the night hiccups. Those were annoying cause I couldn't sleep! But the ones during the day were cute.

@pregnantbee: How cool that you're so in tune with your baby's movements! I feel bulges here and there and I have no club what they are! The big ones I assume are her butt? But I can't tell between the hands and feet. How can you tell?

@mrs. wagon: okay I'd find them annoying too then, :D LO only had the hiccups for a few minutes before we went to bed. :D
I got the weird shivering/spasming feelings too. I HATED IT! Made me feel so nasty.

My LO was head down most of the time too! I only knew because she would stretch her legs out and tickle my ribs. It's crazy because when she was born, she ALWAYS had her legs stretched out! I thought it was the weirdest thing since most babies keep their legs bent.

@banana: I'm at 36w, baby is head down. I get all sorts of large jabs on the top half of my stomach, and I can tell when the baby is stretching because the top left of my stomach bulges out like the size of a grapefruit while the top right side sticks out at the same time. Sometimes I can feel individual feet on my right side. And occasionally some twinges to my bladder probably from hands -- that's a new trick! And baby does get hiccups, and when that happens, I only feel them low below the bump. (Team Green, which is why no pronouns)

@mrs.wagon: I miss those hiccups! Those were fun! Maybe they start hiccuping later in pregnancy? I was pretty sure it was earlier on with my son. Those flutters are so weird right? Like are they moving their feet SUPER SUPER fast or something? I can never figure out what that is!! There's no way a baby could move their hands/feet that FAST!

She's head down. Now that we're getting closer, she is much more active. Who says the baby movements slow down the further along you get! She wiggles and jabs my belly. I think I've been lucky - no rib jabs! :-)

Tater Tot is head down. I went today and was told he/she is very low which is awesome though it isn't uncomfortable to me. His/her bum and back are up high on my belly and feet are off to the side. Very interesting positioning! I'm 36 weeks :)

Mine is breech but it's weird because I really only feel him up high on both sides. I guess it must be hands and feet? They aren't too concerned though as most babies are still breech now (29 weeks). If he's still there in 5-6 more weeks, then we'll be concerned about possible c-section I guess.

@mrs.wagon: OH Ok! I think she might be head down then cause I feel the exact same things you mentioned. Small little jabs in my bladder and kicks/flutters/big movements up at the top of my bump!

Ok seriously, what are those flutters though? It's so weird. It's like 10 super quick movements in a row. What would be making those fluttery movements? Her foot?

She always has her hands up near her face in all my ultrasounds too!)

All of the kicks and flutters are above my belly button, right at the top of my bump! And I can constantly feel little bumps pushing against the surface of my belly.. I think those are her feet! Heels?
