But this year one set of grandparents sent gifts unwrapped, so I know those, and the other set told me what they were getting so I could prep a needed piece of it so that it will work on Christmas day. But this year is a first in that regard. They also use her Amazon wish list a lot. They are big gifters but would rather spend their money on things they know we want/need/won't hate. </p> <p>DH's family generally doesn't tell us. Which I'm fine with but they always give things that aren't age appropriate or clothes that are way too small. In the past about 75% of things from his mom get donated. Although this year I think his mom or brother has been using her wish list for some little things. My in laws likely won't be able to do gifts this year. My BIl and SIL don't usually tell me but they have a lot of kids on her side so it's usually Pjs and some candy. Sometimes I know what my siblings/MIL are gifting but not always. This year I do know because they told us, which is kind of helpful because I can coordinate my gifts accordingly or make sure there aren't too many doubles with other gift givers. </p>
