No way they didn't realize it. They just took off like nothing happened. We got our bumper pretty scratched up by someone in a parking garage on our anniversary. They were still parked there when we came out, so we sat in the car and waited until they came back and then made them give us their insurance info and I gave them a lecture about leaving a note! It's SO frustrating. One time, a girl was trying to leave a note when we came out. She was so upset, and it was barely even a scratch so we told her to just not worry about it. I've never hit anyone that wasn't in the vehicle, but I would definitely leave a note. It wasn't a small dent by any means. I hastily scrawled a note and got a call back later and it turned out I had hit a professor's car. :bummed: He was incredibly gracious and told me not to even worry about it and that he would have it taken care of. I offered to pay him cash for the repair if he didn't want to involve insurance, but he said he had more of that than I probably did :) and that he was just amazed I'd taken the time to let him know. It was so complicated and annoying. I would have def appreciated a note. I felt so awful and we left a note on the windshield apologizing and asking the owner to call us, and left Wagon Sr.'s cell phone number.</p> <p>The guy called us a little while later and thanked us for leaving a note, saying people don't really do that anymore these days. He said the scratch doesn't seem to be a big deal, but he'd call us later this week if he feels he needs to.</p> <p>Even though I hate that we hit this guy's car, it makes me feel really good that we left a note.
