The ONLY reason I don't ask to touch/hold other people's babies is that I know it makes some moms uncomfortable (I still "flirt" with other people's babies ALL the time - whether I know them or not.) Without really thinking about it, I just handed her over. The waitress was so excited - she was telling us that she has a granddaughter the same age that lives far away and she's never met her. </p> <p>My husband was weirded out by the whole thing, but I was okay with it. It was kinda funny, and a little weird, but everyone was friendly and so sweet. There were lots of kids running around, but DS was the only baby, so he pretty much got handed around to everyone! I don't think I ever would have let people I didn't know well hold DD at this age, but DS is such a social baby, and he really enjoyed meeting/playing with all the new people. Plus, I was with him the whole time, just talking with whoever was holding him, so I felt pretty reassured that he was doing just fine. :)</p> <p>Would you let aquaintances or people you don't know really well hold your LO? </p>
