Snuggling with mommy is pretty much out. :( He did let me hold him for two naps on our plane ride to Hawaii. After she finishes a feed, I always pop her on my chest to burp her and she inevitably falls asleep. Sometimes I let her stay there, other times I pop her down in her cot or swing. During the overnight feeds though, 9 times out of 10, I fall asleep with her on my chest after the feed and we end up sleeping that way for a good hour or two before I eventually put her down. </p> <p>For the first 3 weeks of her life, LO didn't want to sleep in her cot at night so DH and I switched off in three hour intervals sitting up with her sleeping on our chest. Whilst it meant we didn't get loads of sleep, we really enjoyed that cuddle time. But I also rarely let him sleep on me - and now I feel guilty! It's not because I don't want to cuddle with him all day long....but even though I'm on maternity leave, I have to get crap done at home! (Laundry, dishes, bottles, pumping, eating, showering, working out)</p> <p>I'm starting to get nostalgic/feeling nervous already about leaving him when I go back to work (not for a while still) so maybe I'll start letting him nap on me more : ) </p>
