I do let her have a "picnic" on a blanket or towel on the hardwood floor as a compromise and I've let her kneel at the coffee table once or twice, but not for anything messy. We do eat on the couch while she is sleeping. Since we started Hello Fresh, those nights are fairly rare. When we got the new couch I didn't change the rules, but I should have! We only let them eat dry things but in between the cracks and underneath is SO disgusting. </p> <p>Do you have rules about eating on the couch? </p>
