Oh no, that stinks. I can't believe it's not washable even though it claims to be. I only let him paint/color in the kitchen so it's okay for him to make a mess. He's been liking water colors a lot lately.

The only medium we let him use unsupervised is paint and he's only able to use it in his room. It comes out of everything and wipes off walls too, so that's why.

Hell to the no. Crayons and colored pencils only, and the crayons are pretty closely supervised. The pencils she mostly prefers to take in and out of the box, anyway, she's a little young still to really color.

Absolutely I supervise when DD is coloring. So far it's only crayons. I watch her like a hawk!

I dont' know what I was thinking. I recently bought my son an art easel and last night I set up it for him. He got super excited and wanted to draw on it right away. So I gave him a washable marker (green). I went into the kitchen to put away some dishes and I came out and saw that he scribbled alllllll over our couch cushions! Our couch is light tan (almost white)! I died. It's still green. It won't come off! I thought it was washable!

I guess I shouldn't have let him color by himself. Do you always supervise your LOs when they color?
