Then she can help put the ornaments on (after we have taken out any breakable ones). However, I went through the box of ornaments ahead of time and removed all the potentially breakable ones and put them elsewhere this year. Luckily most of ours are not breakable anyway (since we had cats before LO). We put up the decorations Sunday and my 3 year old wanted to help so badly. I had to find the non-breakables in the boxes to let her "help" me put them around the house. She also helped us decorate the tree. There are a lot of decorations at the BOTTOM of the tree this year. ;-) </p>
