I always pick out his outfits, and usually he doesn't protest. LO2 will start preschool in the fall, and I know it will be challenging. He would prefer to wear truck pajamas all day.

Yes. DD always picks dresses. My input is not welcome. We did family pictures this weekend and nobody else could get dressed until we saw what LO picked that day. It just isn't worth the tantrum if I pick.

Nope, he doesn't care much so I'm going to do it as long as possible.

Occasionally I will give him a choice of shirts or something. Sometimes he asks for "soft" pants instead of jeans/khaki's - and I pretty much always comply.

In the interest of saving time, I let him pick a shirt from 2-4 I've taken from his closet. I do that with socks and underwear sometimes too. Pants he doesn't seem to care about so I just grab a pair for him usually.

Yes but not by choice haha. Gotta pick your battles. As long as she wears something weather appropriate I'm okay with it. My son who is 1.5 doesn't and I don't see him caring about it anytime soon

I let my 4 yr old wear what ever she wants on the weekends because she wears a uniform to daycare M-F, and she HATES the uniform. So... most of the outfits look hideous, but she's happy. LOL

I usually ask him if he wants to pick his clothes out and he says "you think of it", so I do it. He's not very picky, but occasionally wants to change into another shirt if he doesn't like what I picked. If he had his choice, he would probably want to wear his batman pj top every day. :)

I give choices. Generally I start with skirt, dress, shorts/pants. She'll choose from that and then I may give her more choices or not. Like today she picked skirt and I just grabbed a skirt and coordinating shirt without giving her any additional choices. Sometimes she will push back on my choices and as long as she picks something reasonable, I let it go.

He only really picks out his shirt, but I let him, assuming it's weather appropriate. It's basically a Thomas shirt every day. And when he runs out, it's onto Iron Man or Captain America. He doesn't really have a preference of pants though, but they are all basically the same anyway.

I had to laugh at this because my LO will pick out his way too short brown fleece pants every single day if I let him.
At 3.5 he wants to pick out his clothes so I usually let him. If they really don't match or are not appropriate for the weather I'll give him a couple options to choose from. He does a better job picking clothes than DH!
