The glass is extra thick, and I have dropped it on many occasions without a scratch. I highly recommend the bottles. </p> <p> @mrbee: Lifefactory also makes bigger water bottles that Charlie could use. I'm thinking about getting one for myself to use in a regular basis to increase my water intake. I just watch him, and make him sit or stand still while he has it. I worry that he will drop the bottle and it will shatter. That would be horrible.</p> <p>On the flip side though, he drinks SO much water when he drinks out of a glass bottle. Whereas he will just sort of sip at water in his sippy cups. Drinking a lot of water is a great thing, and so I've been reluctant to ban water bottles completely.</p> <p>Do you let your toddler drink out of glass bottles? How do you manage the safety issues? </p>
