Well my first bacon (after years of being a vegetarian) was March 16th 2008. And it was downhill from there. I started out not understanding baconomics and tried to cook myself half a pack of bacon for dinner one night. (DH had to explain to me that while I could, I SHOULDN'T.) I love it in all applications! I even used to work at a bakery that would make maple bacon cupcakes... oh so delicious. My favorite is Turkey Bacon because I am a freak when it comes to straight up fat. I hate chewy fat and turkey bacon doesn't have that. Plus it is healthier (it isn't healthy by any means. Just healthIER) and so yummy!!!! Even my bacon freak of a husband loves and usually prefers turkey bacon which surprised me.
