It's comfort food to me. I grew up with my dad order/asking for things, though, and to this day I can only order by sight/pointing. I only know the names of a couple items. DH isn't as big on dimsum. The only thing I don't like anymore is that alot of places around me are transitioning towards HK style dimsum places and giving tables a menu and you need to check off what you want instead of carts. It's not the same, and now I only go with my mom, seeing that I can't read chinese.
