Guilt free time to just sit and read a book, do some logic puzzles, get caught up on journaling etc without feeling as though I should be doing a million other things. With children - not so much. Now I find it stressful - there are so many rules re: packing and all the additional fees that airlines have tacked on for things that used to be included before they all went bankrupt...The pleasure has been completely sucked out of the entire experience. But HATE the plane rides. I used to travel all the time and had NO issues, but ever since DH and I got married I've had the rollercoaster stomach flipping issue every time we've flown at takeoff and during turbulence! HATE it!
