Genuinely time wasting, and I worry nonstop about if I am inviting too little/too many people, if so and so will be bored since so and so is not coming...etc. Last year we just went to a show in a performance theatre with DS and his best buddy. We had brunch and mimosas (the grown ups lol) prior to the show and that was perfect. I work on the philosophy that all that people really care about is the food, drinks and good company. I just had my son's birthday at a local play place and they set up ,tore down, facilitated games with the kids. It was AWESOME! Totally worth the money and no stress! All we did was get a cake and order pizza.
