He's starting to correct them himself, though, which makes me happy. My sister had a somewhat different name and people frequently mispronounced it and she never corrected them. Her dance instructor called her by the wrong name for 14 years because she never bothered to correct her! People do ask about A's name, whether it's pronounced with long-Ay or short-Ah sound.
