I've been meaning to make them for ages. Maybe this reminder will actually push me to try it.

I do love them...but I can't remember the recipe I used to use (haven't made them in ages). I do remember that it involved cocoa though...yum!

ETA: Aha! Found it! I used plain Greek yogurt instead of vanilla though. Also really tasty with the addition of strawberries.

Love them - my hubby usually makes them. I think this is the recipe I like best:

@LindsayInNY: Yup. I make it at home and bring to work. Maybe you could try different fruits and/or nuts for variety. I can eat the same meal every day so it never bothers me.

@LindsayInNY: I make it at home in a Mason jar. Then in the morning add fruits on top. Bring to work and add a bit of milk on top then pop in the microwave to heat up! Works great.

@mrsjazz: Do you make them at home and bring them to work or do it something different? I usually eat oatmeal at work for breakfast but would like some variety.

I have them for breakfast almost every morning at work. No recipe, just old fashioned oats, milk, cinnamon, a little brown sugar, and some type of frozen fruit. I nuke it at work for a bit in the winter and when it's hot outside I eat it straight out the fridge.

I love them, but don't have a recipe. I do 1/2c old fashioned oats, 1/2c yogurt, and 1/2c milk. I add whatever frozen fruit we have to it and then cinnamon in the morning.
