The key is to basically see it as spending money instead of "losing" it. We have a line item in our budget for "wagering" Most bets aren't over $10. Gambling makes me so nervous and I hate knowing that I'm likely to lose money. It literally gives me anxiety. I recently joined a babywearing group on FB where people raffle off their wraps/carriers and I have such a hard time dipping even if I love the carrier. The only way I can rationalize it to myself is that this particular group donates a portion of the money to charity.</p> <p>DH, on the other hand, loves to gamble! He plays poker every Thursday and plays at a casino once a month. </p>
