We tent camped every other weekend for years before kids. It's such a great cheap way to vacation and see the sights. We kept it pretty basic, cooked over the fire and played card games, hiked, etc.</p> <p>We've been taking our kids camping since they were 10 months. We invested in a small 'tin can' trailer that gives us a fridge, stove, sink, toilet, and a bed. It makes it so much easier with two LOs, and we were able to get out 6 times last summer! We sleep in a tent and set up the whole camp ourselves.
