For some reason, the idea of taking books into the bathroom sort of grosses me out. I guess I just don't want the germs to get on the book, even though that probably doesn't make much sense! Also, I am really fast in the bathroom so I wouldn't be able to get much reading done. I do not let my husband take books/magazines in there either because I think it encourages him to sit in there forever and for some reason (probably because I'm crazy) I want him to stop taking so long. After childbirth I read that you should read to help ease things along by themselves so you're not just sitting there pushing.
