We have a pretty good mix of old and new in our house. I went through a major "Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic" phase before I met DH. Our entire guest bedroom is all vintage furniture. Kaitlyn's dresser and night-stand are antiques and re-finished. And our formal dining room &amp; living room set are vintage Chinese redwood inherited from DH's aunt &amp; uncle. Everything else is pretty modern style (think Z Gallerie style).</p> <p>@Rainbow Sprinkles: What an amazing deal! Her dresser is from the 40s and belonged to my FIL when he was a kid. Feast your eyes on this baby, 12" planks that are 7' long, square headed nais and the best (and worst!) part is that because it's a true antique it's not a standard height, it's almost 3" taller than a regular table. We just bought an antique dining table that isn't really fancy but is easily 100+ years old and I love it.
