I like that they squeeze my hips and tummy in just a little without feeling sausage like (thanks, spanx). Tights with tall boots weather is my very favorite. I think they fit me better because I'm tall, though.</p> <p>I think there might be two different meanings of 'tights' going on though-- I mean the kind that are like very thick pantyhose, but it sounds like other people mean leggings (like running tights). I also like those, but NOT as pants. Leggings are like super thick, footless, tights, meant to be worn with short dresses and really really long shirts. Tops must cover crotches in leggings, unless you are actually running at the gym.
