She was once a very successful, electrical engineer, but completely put her life on hold when her twin girls were born with severe special needs.</p> <p>When her husband split, she put her all into her girls, and started the non-profit organization I work for now. She is a well-known advocate and fighter in our public school system, and a huge asset to special education in our area. He always backs up his department and stands behind everyone and will own up to his mistakes instead of trying to throw someone under the bus. I wasn't a fan of my old boss. He is a typical salesy/schmoozy guy who will act like your best friend but hold you down as much as he can. I've been under him for 5 years and have gone nowhere despite my very big strides in accomplishments.</p> <p>Now that the reorg happened, I love my new boss. She was part of one of our companies that we acquired and moved gracefully into this role. She is really highly respected and is very loyal to her employees. </p>
