I would never allow my husband to speak to me the way he speaks to her. </p> <p>My younger sister's husband is a very nice guy, my only complaint about him is he needs to get a backbone and stand up to my sister when she's being ridiculous (which unfortunately happens quite a bit.) Her and I had a relationship outside of their relationship - so we all got along well. They ended up breaking up and are still on good terms and I am also with her. He's probably not someone I would be friends with independently but there's nothing specific that I don't like about him. At least we are on the same page about the issue. </p> <p>I think my husband gets along great with my brother and sister (younger). I could have strangled him. So now there's more drama on top of that. Sigh. </p> <p>Only one of my BILs is married, and I really like his wife, but we don't see each other that much. His step-sister's husband is a douchebag. He made a big deal about how for her birthday gift he "babysat" their 2 kids for the "entire day". I was like "wow, way to put yourself out buddy" (huge eyeroll). That's also called, you know, being a decent father. She's nice, but beat down (metaphorically, not physically!). He seems to be very happy, and he has a great relationship with his in-laws, so I am good with that.
