We live on a peninsula and the Chesapeake Bay is right down the street from my house. The Atlantic Ocean is also very close by. No matter what state I lived in we always seemed to be close to water...the Mississippi, a lake, etc. Would be weird not to have water close by. I change my tune during hurricane season, however.
