We don't buy much packaged but when we do we look at sugar, sodium, protein & fiber. We also steer clear of anything artificial.

No, cause we don't get a lot of pre-packaged stuff, and when we do it's something we're craving, like Oreos or chips.

Yup! I mainly look at calories, fat content, and ingredients - I don't buy anything w/artificial colors/flavors.

I have to look at ingredients. I try not to buy to much packaged food but when I do I have to avoid gluten and try and stick with things that relatively good for you.

Always. I look at percent fat and sodium the most...fiber depending on what I'm buying.

Nope. I try to, but I always have LO with me and she takes everything I pick up and either holds onto it or puts it in the back of the cart. She doesn't like me to hold anything and look at it. So I'll just give up and hope for the best.

Yes, and SO haaaaaaates grocery shopping with me because of this. I will spend an hour + shopping because I look at the nutrition facts and all the ingredients and compare and contrast a lot. We try not to eat pre-packaged foods much in general, but when I am buying something, I look at saturated fat, sugar, sodium, protein, and fiber, plus make sure the ingredients are as close to natural as possible.

Yeah, I'm pretty concerned about sugar content. Baby yogurt is such a scam. And calories and protein content, too. If I'm going to feed my toddler snack foods, I at least want them to be as low in calories and high in protein as possible. Annie's snack crackers are on the good side for this - each little pouch has 2 grams of protein! Far better than some shelf stable snacks.

Same as you, I check the sodium and fiber, and I should get better about the sugar. I also check the proteins on some items (like Greek yogurt, I try to get one with a higher protein).

Yes I read everything, I check for sugar, salt, artificial colors, sweeteners, corn syrup and preservatives.

I am also not a fan of baby yogurt so I just give her plain yogurt with fruit added in

I always compare labels, especially if it's food for LO!

My top 3 concerns are:
- sugar
- sodium
- dietary fibre

(I am very anti-baby yogurt because i find that their sugar content is the same or higher than adult yogurt!)

Are you a nutritional data reader? What's important to you?
