His small business is two hours from where I live, so I do stay with my parents a couple nights a week. (DH and I are moving closer to my dad's small business here shortly) I do like it (most of the time) because my mom works part-time and can watch my dog (who also commutes with me back and forth). I do help around their house with cleaning and cooking and such. When I do go back to work my mom will be watching DS or I can bring DS to work when she has to work. I miss being closer to them (4+ hour drive away now), and of course I love my mom cooking for me, but I like living on my own. I go crazy if I stay overnight for more than a couple of days. I like that I have things the way I want them at my home, come and go when I need to. Although my mom did still pack my lunch for my summer job after freshman year of college-- that was nice.
