For us, it was our quiet time, just us. LO was also more mommy oriented back then. It gave us lots of snuggle time together. I didn't like pumping, the exhaustion from that, and the crazy food intake. I liked that for J is was a "magic trick" to soothe him and calm him down if he was upset. But I also like the freedom to eat/drink what I want without worry about it affecting him. I BF for 11 months, but the later months, I really pumped 80% of the time just because of schedule. I was ready. DS was ready and I have no regrets about our journey.</p> <p>Sometimes DS will see my boob, while I'm changing or I pull it out when we're lounging, just to see his reaction! He pretends to latch on then pops off and laughs! :P</p> <p>I don't miss it 99% of the time, but as I see him grow up, I miss those quiet nursing sessions we had! </p>
