Ehhhh yes and no. The constant sleep deprivation, breastfeeding, multiple poop diapers a day- eff no. The hours of cuddle time, the milky smell, and the lack of sassy toddler attitude were THE BEST.

Nope, haha--even though I'm about to do it all over again! Even though I know it'll be harder with a toddler around, I actually think I'll enjoy it more this time because of the perspective I have (aka it doesn't last forever) and the fact that I won't be able to have such newborn tunnel vision thanks to DD1.

Yes. I've loved each stage so far, but there is something special about having a newborn.

Yes, I love, love, LOVED the newborn days! I must have had freak of nature babies as they all slept relatively well and were very chilled out babies; we never had the awake all night babies so I never felt particularly tired or stressed. I loved all the snuggles and just how easy it was to do everything with a newborn - it's when they're older that it gets more difficult to get things done or go out and about! I never could understand why people said the newborn days were so difficult as it couldn't have been further from the truth for any of our three.

My youngest is 12 weeks old tomorrow and he has been the easiest of the three. I am so, so sad the newborn days are over and can't completely rule out the idea of having a fourth, even though I dread the thought of being pregnant again. I just love the newborn days so much and wish they lasted longer....

Not really, especially knowing I'll have a newborn again in a few months! I see other people's newborn/infants and I'm like hmm, you don't say/do anything?! lol. I'm too used to my toddler! The one thing I do miss tho is being able to put an immobile infant down and they won't go anywhere!

Yes I loved the newborn days. I was blessed with two easy laid back babies so apart from sleep deprivation (which thankfully I didn't get too bad) the newborn stages for both kids was definitely one of my favorite.

I remember those days as being sooooo hard while i was in it. But now that I have a 17 month old I something wonder how I could think that was so hard when all they did was sleep and eat and didn't run around throwing fits. Its the exhaustion I don't miss at all.

Yes. I really love having newborns.
We've lucked out three times with babies that sleep a ton and only fuss when they're hungry. We've never had the cry all night/colicky babies.

Yes and my baby is only 4 months old 😳 He's been such an easy baby. Rarely did more than 2-3 wake ups at night, took a couple 2-3 hr naps a day, rarely cried and we had no weight again or breastfeeding issues.

Yes. Absolutely. But I don't think that's normal. I had a dream newborn. She was down to one or two wake ups a night by a week old, and sleeping through the night by 7 weeks. She barely cried, was so happy and sweet, nursed great, and was super easygoing.

She also turned into a needy infant who wanted to be held constantly, so I don't miss months 4-7. :)

A little bit. Dubs was /such/ an easy baby, though, never woke up more than twice a night. I wouldn't go back, they just get more and more fun, but I miss when they were teeny tiny and I could watch tv with him asleep on my chest all day.

Nope! I love parts of it but not the screaming most of the night bit. Which is a pretty big bit. I like the part where they are interactive and smile at you but also still cuddle and like being held. And preferably sleep through the night.
