One time I brought her upstairs and she was out so cold I was able to move her to the crib and she stayed asleep (she seemed hot in the seat and looked uncomfortable). The other time she stayed asleep for an extra less than 10 minutes in the seat. </p> <p>She almost never falls asleep in the car, and if she does she always wakes up when we stop. On the rare occasions he falls asleep in it he'll wake up as soon as we stop. And he's a really light sleeper--we've never been able to do a transfer from the crib without waking him up. </p> <p>If it's late enough (say if we've been down at my ILs and he fell asleep coming home at night) we can usually move him. Texas summers are brutal and she gets sweaty and hot so fast in her bucket seat; I take her out asap to cool her down. He always opens his eyes, but once the swing starts he's out again. An asleep baby is a baby not to be messed with! (Unless she falls asleep on me, in which case ahe can be moved.) I would jostle her around too much getting her out and it would wake her up. I never know if he will nap better in the seat or if I should move him to the crib! </p>
