Like, many times they don’t have any distinct flavor besides just sweet. This is especially true for anything that should taste tart, like lemon anything, key lime pies, etc. and pie crusts (store-bought have zero flavor generally, homemade actually have flavor). </p> <p>Frosting is another one, as others have said.
