I live in NYC too and I thought it would stop as well when I was really showing. But it really doesn't... I think it actually made me MORE noticeable. Even after baby, it continued. I used to think to myself, "Really? Barely any makeup, sleep deprived, and I'm pushing a stroller... that's still attractive?" Everyone keeps telling me how tiny I'm staying, but I guess with all the stares I just keep thinking how strange I must look. Not creepy ones, just middle-aged men) looked tenderly at me sometimes, which made my heart melt. But a lot of young-ish women used to say comments like, "Oh! My husband walked away for a second to take a picture and some Guy totally came over and hit on me. My belly was under water and it was night time so he had no idea I was pregnant. I was tempted to get out of the water to talk to him just for funsies, but I'm way too shy for that.</p> <p>But for the most part, no. Ive never been one to get checked out.. I cant even say that I got asked to dance at a bar/club often during my younger and single days.. but lately for some reason I notice more men just stare at me straight in the face... It is a little uncomfortable and I'm just like "hey look down here - belly growing." It could be just my imagination because for some reason I do feel a little self conscience - especially because I still think not everyone will realize I'm pregnant and just think I have a weird shaped body.</p> <p>Do you notice more attention from strangers now that you are pregnant? </p>
